Fresh casino — review for players from Latvia

Fresh casino is an international gaming platform launched in 2018. The casino targets players from various countries, including Latvia: the site accepts euros, supports Russian and English, and offers familiar payment methods. The catalogue includes slots, table games and a live casino section with live dealers. The platform works through a browser (mobile version) and offers a downloadable programme for desktop. It suits players looking for game variety who are prepared to accept the risks of an offshore platform.

Legal status for players from Latvia

Fresh casino does not hold a licence from the State Revenue Service of Latvia (VID). This is an offshore casino — look for the licence and owner details in the site footer (typically an offshore jurisdiction such as Curaçao). Under Latvian law (Azartspēļu un izložu likums), participation in interactive gambling organised without a VID licence is prohibited; the fine for an individual is €70 to €350.

VID maintains a list of unlicensed operators and may restrict access to their sites — the domain may be blocked. Banks may decline payments to gambling sites without a Latvian licence. The VID register of self-excluded persons (pašatteikušos personu reģistrs) does not apply to offshore casinos: if you have entered yourself in the register, Fresh casino is not obliged to check that restriction. Latvian regulatory protection does not apply here — complaints are resolved through the casino's licensor or international mechanisms, if available.

You must be 18+ to play at Fresh casino. Bear in mind the risks: possible site blocking, bank refusal, fines and absence of state supervision.

Registration and identity verification

Registration takes place on the casino site: provide your email address, create a password, choose your currency (euro) and confirm that you are 18 or over. After registration, check your email — the casino may send a link to confirm your account.

Identity verification will be required before your first withdrawal. Upload a scan of your passport or Latvian identity card (both sides), and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months). The casino reviews the documents — the process may take from several hours to several days. Withdrawal will be unavailable until verification is complete.

Bonuses and promotions

The Fresh casino listing shows a welcome bonus: 100% on first deposit and 200 free spins. This is the opening offer for new players. Check the terms in the 'Bonuses' section on the casino site — they may change. Pay attention to wagering requirements and the validity period: these parameters determine how much you need to wager before you can withdraw winnings, and the timeframe in which to do so. Details are in the terms of the specific promotion.

In addition to the welcome bonus, the casino may offer regular promotions: cashback, tournaments, deposit reloads. Look for the current offers in your account or in newsletters. For more information on types of bonuses at online casinos, see the bonuses section.

Games: slots, live casino and table games

Fresh casino offers a game catalogue divided by category. The core is slots: classic three-reel machines, video slots with bonus rounds, games with jackpots. Themes and mechanics vary — from fruit machines to adventure storylines. Search by title or filter by provider to find the game you want.

The live casino section includes games with live dealers: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker. Streams run from studios in real time, bets are placed through the casino interface. This is an option for those who prefer the atmosphere of a land-based venue.

Table games are presented in digital format: roulette, blackjack, poker, dice. Rules are standard, the pace of play is faster than in the live section. Check the catalogue for the range of providers and exact number of games — the data changes.

Payment methods for players from Latvia

Fresh casino accepts payments in euros — the currency of Latvia since 2014. Check the available methods in the 'Cashier' section of your account: they may differ depending on your country and account settings.

Typically, offshore casinos support bank cards Visa and MasterCard, e-wallets Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, prepaid voucher Paysafecard, bank transfer via Trustly or Rapid Transfer. Players from Latvia can fund their accounts via cards from Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor, and through the fintech service Revolut or payment system Paysera. Some casinos accept cryptocurrency via PayCryptos. Check the list in the cashier before making a deposit.

Bear in mind: banks may decline payments to unlicensed gambling sites. If a transaction fails, contact your bank to clarify the reason. Withdrawal is available after identity verification. The casino may request additional documents if the withdrawal amount exceeds the limit set for unverified accounts. More information on payment methods is in the payment methods section.

Mobile version and downloadable client

Fresh casino works in a smartphone or tablet browser — this is the mobile version, adapted for iOS and Android screens. Open the site via Safari, Chrome or another browser, log in to your account and play without installing an app. The interface adjusts to portrait orientation, the menu collapses into a panel, the game catalogue scrolls with a swipe.

A downloadable programme (desktop client) is available for computers. Download the installation file from the casino site, run the installation and log in to your account. The programme launches from the desktop and works without a browser. Some players find the client more convenient than the web version: games load faster, the interface is independent of browser extensions.

Customer support

You can contact Fresh casino via live chat on the site, by email or through a contact form. Live chat opens in the lower-right corner of the page — write your question and an operator will respond online. Check the site for chat hours: the service may operate around the clock or during set hours.

Email is suitable for detailed enquiries: attach screenshots, describe the problem, provide your account number. A response typically arrives within 24 hours. Check the FAQ section — it may contain answers to standard questions about registration, bonuses, verification and withdrawal.
